Kitchen extension
It’s amazing what you can achieve when doing a kitchen renovation in your existing home with thoughtful planning and great design. The problem this client faced with their previous kitchen was the pantry space, so more storage space in the redesign was a must. This couple also liked to entertain so as part of the brief they wanted a separate area to prep in as they didn’t want the mess visible but there needed to be a provision for a washing machine/doing the laundry. Fortunately, their existing kitchen backed onto the laundry so this wall was opened up and a cavity slider put in to create a separate scullery/laundry space and a door closed in that led into a bathroom.
The main kitchen cabinetry is Dezignatek Lana Grey colour in the Ronda Door pattern complemented with a mitred 40mm Caesarstone Nordic Loft engineered stone benchtop and Laminam Argento Filo coloured splashback. The scullery/laundry is Prime Melamine Concreted coloured cabinetry with a 40mm Wilsonart Concrete laminate benchtop.
When looking at the “before” and “after” pics, it looks like a different space!
